Tips for being well prepared before your trip

What do you need to be well prepared before your trip? We're happy to give you general information, however, please note specific conditions might apply, depending on your destination, stopover, amount of stay, etc. We advise to always check the details with (local) authorities and/or embassies.

Personal travel documents

  • Passport. Note: please always check the validity of your document needed to travel.
  • Visa or declaration documents. Note: some countries require a visa or declaration, even for layovers (eg. ESTA or ETA in the USA, UK and Canada)
  • Any health certificates or vaccination proof (e.g., yellow fever, depending on the destination)
  • Due to the complexity of these requirements, we cannot make any statements, even when you contact us.

Your information sources

  • The embassy or consulate of your destination country
  • Official (government) websites, such as IATA Travel Centre or your local Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • The airline

Obligation to take ALL flights

If you miss any of your flights (or train journeys), the airline will generally automatically cancel the rest of your trip. You will then have no right to a refund, nor right to travel. We kindly refer to the airlines' conditions, as we are no party in this.

Be on time!

Allow sufficient time for check-in and security checks at the airport. Waiting times may increase during peak seasons or for international travel. If you arrive late at the gate, you are not entitled to a refund of your ticket or an alternative flight.

Baggage allowances

  • Generally and for an increasing amount of airlines, baggage and hand baggage are no longer included in the airfare, and need to be booked at extra fees.
  • Check the airline’s baggage rules well in advance of departure. Contact us for booking (additional) baggage.
