Verification with Ryanair

For some routes, Ryanair requires online verification, which is a mandatory step to undertake. This saves you time at the airport and gives you full access to your Ryanair booking (eg. to do mandatory online checking, or adding services, etc.).

We recommend linking with your mobile phone via the Ryanair app, as a photo of your passport or ID card will need to be taken. If you don’t have a personal Ryanair account yet, please create one first on this page, before proceeding with the steps below. 

Let’s get started! First, retrieve your booking:

1. Go to this page.
2. Press Continue until you can fill in your booking details.
3. Enter your Booking Reference. It consists of 6 characters and is stated in our ticket email.
4. Enter your first and last name exactly as you did when making the booking.
5. Press Continue.

You are now ready to link your booking to your personal Ryanair account.

1. Press Log In. A new screen will open where you can enter your Ryanair login details (again).
2. After logging in, you will return to the previous screen to complete the linking process. Didn’t return automatically? Refresh your web browser (your internet screen) once.
3. Always select the free standard verification (no cost), as Ryanair automatically selects paid speedy verification’, which often doesn’t work.
4. Check all the declarations.
5. Now, take a photo of your passport or ID card. 
6. Next, sign with your finger. 
7. Finally, enter your mobile phone number and press Submit.

Ryanair will now process your verification and will send you an email once it is completed. This is often done within a few hours, but can take up to 24 hours. Once you receive this email from Ryanair, you can only view your booking through your personal Ryanair account and with your own e-mail address.
