Why have my seats been changed?

The airline can change seats at any time. This can happen due to:

  • Changes in the aircraft type
  • Operational adjustments
  • Seats needed for eg. medical passengers or baggage

Normally, the airline will rebook you to an equivalent seat. The airline tries to take your original preferences into account as much as possible. In cases you are not satisfied with the provided alternative, you can submit a complaint or compensation request directly with the airline.

Please note: if an equivalent seat was offered (eg. window seat > window seat) a refund is often not granted.
