For a standard round-trip booking, it is not possible to cancel only the outbound or return journey. When you cancel a flight, or skip one of the flights, the entire booking (and thus any subsequent flights) is automatically cancelled by the airline, with no right to reclaim your flights.

Exception: if you have booked two separate one-way tickets (a so-called combination booking), it is possible to cancel part of your journey. You can find this information during booking and on your booking confirmation: it clearly states whether you have booked separate tickets. In addition, you also have received two seperate one way ticket e-mails.
