Flight Ticket Guarantee – Your Protection Against Airline Bankruptcy

With Flight Ticket Guarantee, you are protected against unexpected situations. If your flight is canceled due to an (imminent) bankruptcy of the airline, this cover ensures you don’t end up empty-handed.

What is covered?

You qualify for compensation if:

  • The Flight Ticket Guarantee is stated on your booking confirmation.
  • The canceled flight(s) are listed on your ticket.
  • The guarantee covers the flight ticket only, not extras such as baggage, seat reservations, or meals.

What will you be reimbursed for?

If your flight has not yet started:

  • A full refund of the ticket price for the canceled flight(s).

If you are already traveling:

  • Compensation for the costs of the canceled flight, or
  • The cost of a direct return trip to the Netherlands.

Maximum compensation

  • Up to a maximum of €2,000 per person per ticket.

When are you covered?

  • Coverage starts as soon as you book and pay for the flight.

When does the guarantee not apply?

You will not receive compensation if:

  • The bankruptcy was caused by war, riots, coups, or government intervention.
  • If you do not submit your claim within 1 month, your right to compensation will expire.

What to do in case of bankruptcy?

Please contact us as soon as possible. We will submit a claim on your behalf.
