The processing time for a refunds and vouchers depends on the airline. In most cases, you can expect the following steps:
- Once your cancellation is confirmed, we will submit the refund request with the airline.
- The airline determines how long it takes to process this. Generally, this process takes 2 to 4 weeks, but for some smaller airlines, it can take longer.
- As soon as the refund or voucher is fully processed, you will receive an automated e-mail.
- The airline always calculates the refundable amount. This can be lower than expected, eg. due to cancellation penalties and/or non-refundable taxes.
- Please note: additional costs, such as insurances or booking fees, are non-refundable. These services are 'used'.
